Hashtags allow other Instagram users to find your photos and are a way to add a photo to a group of related photos or content. Instagram allows us to add 30 hashtags although there are no exact restrictions on the hashtags you use it makes sense to use the ones that are appropriate and make sense.
Travel Tips Hashtags
Below is a list of hashtags you can add to your photos to help them get noticed on Instagram. There are general travel hashtags as well as many country/destination hashtags. These are divided/organized by country and sometimes also by city, state or locality.

Hashtags help other Instagram users find your photos and can give you more exposure. Once the hashtag is in a photo you can simply click to see other photos shared using the same hashtag. When you click on a hashtag and see these images they will be divided into “Top” and “Recent”.
When adding hashtags to your photos we recommend combining them. Remember that you can only add 30 so if you have a list of more than 30 then use some of the most important and popular hashtags for your photos, as well as a selection of less popular ones. Also keep an eye on what some of the bigger accounts are adding, like these Instagram travel hubs/feature accounts and post about them too.

How has traveling shaped you as a person? Your travel experience can be powerful and transformative, if you let it. They can change the way you see the world and they can change the way you see yourself in the world. It’s so easy to get caught up in our lives. Travel helps you recognize your small place in the grand scheme of things. I think with all the bad news and politics we’ve been dealing with lately it’s important to focus on the positive. Some people are motivated by injustice. For others, it’s the hope that things can get better. Help spread hope by sharing your positive stories. Everyone you see has their own life experiences, thoughts and struggles. With that knowledge, along with the knowledge that exists, many people out there can fall for it. Sometimes you feel like you only hear the suffering and pain of others. For me, this knowledge and experience really brought home the fact that I am very lucky to have the life that I have. Traveling strengthened my desire to chase an ideal world. I know that in my lifetime the world will not reach the ideals that I think it should be, but since I have the opportunity to contribute to make it a little better place, then I will do what I can. I will probably be called moral (aka untruthful) until the end of time but that’s not for me…because it means I still have hope that things can get better.
