I was on a tour of the Scottish Highlands including Skye and was overall very happy. Both of our guides were warm and knowledgeable about the places they took us. I appreciated the pre-tour service of our travel consultant Eve. Although I had a friend with me, I made all the arrangements for both of us. We were disappointed that I was only given a map and an itinerary. My friend was given nothing even though we had separate rooms and traveled as single people. I would also suggest (and we talk about this as a group) that your service representatives in each do an actual visit to the Highlands as detailed so they know the distances between the sites and e.g. , a walking tour. Glen Coe takes significantly more than 20 minutes to get and appreciate. I will be happy to discuss my ideas with you. I would love to travel more but age and money will probably prevent that.

Excellent guide and equally good driver. Know both well with a good sense of humor. As we were ‘old’ on the trip with some mobility issues, they were always willing to help.

Scotland: Orkney And Northern Coast 5 Day Tour In Edinburgh

We had a wonderful time touring. Our guide was excellent; Knowledgeable and intelligent (and a good driver on “dodgy” roads). Also enjoy the stories from our other guide Brian. The overnight accommodation was first rate, the food varied and delicious. Enjoy the scenery of many places, the hotel city of Inverness not so much.

My friend and I had a great time. We chose this tour with Nordic Visitor because it fit the length of our tour, the places we visited and the size of the travel group.

The itinerary for this tour was well planned but I have to say that our driver-guide made it all work. He had an extraordinary knowledge of the country and constantly surprised us with interesting facts, current and historical. His sense of humor and thoughtfulness made this trip my best ever.

My trip advisor, Rebecca, was very friendly, efficient and helpful. She always responded to my emails promptly. He also noticed that a flight I was booked on was canceled before I had a chance to email him with the change. I was so impressed with the service provided that I am considering making another trip next year. The tour guides (we had two) were excellent. When the weather made it difficult to do anything on the trip, they came up with an alternative that was just as exciting.
