The hotel has 4 wheelchair accessible rooms, 111, 113 on the first floor and 211 and 213 on the second floor.

A pretty basic hotel but it didn’t matter as there were two places for breakfast less than 30 seconds walk away. Our room was clean and had everything we needed, my husband would have liked a hair dryer. There are many bars and restaurants in the area so the lack of them does not matter in this hotel. If you are in the area a perfect place to stay.

Expensive. £107 for. a night in the smallest room and bathroom experienced in over 50 years of world travel. The facilities are not there. Ok room, clean towels. The reception staff is great. As a former resident New Brighton in a downer again. Definitely not recommended. Sorry!!!

Great situation on the promenade, very close to shops, restaurants and bus stops. This is a hotel that I have, ever since it opened, wanted to stay. Located at the end of a block containing a supermarket, several restaurants and cafes with bars, an obvious place for a seaside break. Standard room layout with the usual necessary furniture, a bit limited in extras, drinking glasses, extra pillows etc but the basics are in place. The receptionist on duty, DIANE was excellent in her reception and efficiency, she even allowed me to use her iPhone to talk to customer services as the internet connection in the hotel was not very strong, and she had problem connecting through the hotels system. all in all a good enough overnight hotel, for me. As mentioned in the area, restaurants nearby do not have catering facilities on site.

The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities are offered. The drain in the shower tray was blocked but it was fixed quickly. Comes with body wash and hand wash foam. Would have liked an extra shelf in the shower for our laundry. A bit noisy at night due to the proximity of the bars downstairs, but quiet until midnight. The breakfast box will be missed. Very expensive for what is offered. The Seahorse pub downstairs offers a full English for about the same price as a breakfast box. Staff service was excellent.

Room Tip: Pay attention to the breakfast box. A better option is available next to the hotel entrance.

The bedroom (twin) is very small, not enough storage or bedside cabinets. etc. No place for your own shampoo etc to sit in the shower. The shower curtain wasn’t long enough so water was all over the bathroom floor but we got around that by turning the shower head against the wall. No issues with water ressure/temperature changes as mentioned by other reviewers. The family staying in another room who paid the same price as us were given hot chocolate sachets and kit-kats, we were not. Not enough towels but reception put a few extra at reception to collect later rather than taking them to the room and enough towels then left at each change. With the negatives said, the beds were really comfortable and the room was clean. The only breakfast offered is ‘to go’ but there is a Hungry Horse pub 2 doors down and the breakfast there is good, there is also refillabe tea and coffee.

Hi how many outlets are in the rooms and where are they? (like by your bed) does it have a hairdryer, soap and shampoo in the rooms? we stayed in a double bed room. can you check in anytime for free and do you have to pay an extra £10?

Didn’t notice how many sockets there were or if it had a hairdryer. There is soap in a dispenser in the room next to the sink and in the shower, not separate shampoo but the soap can also be used for hair. It is a budget type hotel so does it compare to a more expensive type of hotel with fancy extras. The check in time is 3pm according to the website and booking form, we arrived at 2:30pm and managed
