I chose Pullman because a friend posted a photo of her balcony with the Eiffel Tower there. That was many years ago, and I told myself that if I ever got to Paris, I would stay there. Finny after five tries (thanks to Covid), I did it. Pullman was perfect. We had a large room with a balcony and a perfect view of the tower. The room was prepared according to the requirements and we had a great buffet breakfast included in the price (we paid extra for that). The room was full of nice amenities… Nepresso maker, free still and sparkling water and soda. The only thing we weren’t a fan of was the open shower, but that didn’t seem to be a problem. There are many elevators and they move quickly. Breakfast had so many options and excellent service. We went there for lunch and I thought the service was not that attentive and the food, although good, was too much and too expensive…$30 salads. This hotel caters to a lot of Americans (Viking ships even have a counter in the lobby) which may be why the portions were so big. We found many good restaurants nearby (see my other reviews). We could go to many places. There were always taxis waiting outside plus the taxis we caught when we were out and we never had a problem knowing where our hotel was. If I could do it over again I would ask if we could do an early check in even if it cost…we arrived at 11am and couldn’t get into the room until 3pm. They stored our luggage but I wanted to settle in after arriving on an overnight flight.
The location is excellent, the breakfast buffet covered everything. However, the hotel is not clean, it needs updating. The carpet in the room was dirty, the blanket had stains, we asked for new ones and they didn’t until the next day when we asked again. The coffee maker in the room also didn’t work and instead of replacing it they tried to tell us we didn’t know how to use it. The staff could be friendlier and more accommodating. For the amount (600 euros per night) we pay, although yes, we pay for the view, the hotel should be spotless. It needs renovation as soon as possible.

I found my stay to be a great pleasure. The location is excellent, the breakfast service – sitting at my table and being served coffee felt very luxurious – the rest I could serve myself from the buffet. Very nice staff.
